p.s. 필리핀 민다나오 지역 역시 오랜 이슬람 과격 독립파에 의해 오랜 혼란이 지속되고 있는 곳이다. 얼마 전에도 이 지역을 통과하던 필리핀 해병대 20여명이 습격을 받아 모두 사망하는 사건이 일어나기도. 현지인들을 위한 의료활동이 필요하다고 하는데, 홈마 선생은 작년에 미군 의료진과 함께 민다나오 지역을 다녀오셨다. 물론 민다나오는 거대한 섬으로 문제가 일어나고 있는 곳은 그 중 일부에 불과한 정말 아름다운 섬이라고.
p.s. Mindanao, Philippines is the long-troublesome area by the extreme islamic militia. Last year also more than 20 marines were ambushed and brutally killed there. Medical care is needed for locals, Homma seseni visited the area with US army medical operation. Of course, Midanao is a huge and beautiful island where the troublesome area is so small.
